Introducing tradition and innovation, elegance and creativity. “Oro d’Autore” was launched in 1987 by “Arezzo Fiere e Congressi”, with the purpose of creating a Contemporary Goldsmith’s Art Collection able to enhance and promote the “Made in Italy” jewellery. Indeed, the project links the creativity of some of the most important national and international artists to the mastery of the largest Italian jewellery companies, creating a unique and inimitable jewellery of its kind. Many companies from Arezzo, but also Florence, Vicenza and Valenza, have worked together

In the last years, “Oro d’Autore” has undertaken different creative paths and thanks to the collaboration with the magazines “Vogue Gioiello” and “Vogue Accessory”, there were created many beautiful jewels that combine the style and the creativity of national and international designers with the Italian jewellery tradition. In 2003 Fashion houses like Armani, Ferré, Fendi, Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo, Dolce and Gabbana, Vivienne Westwood, and many others joined together for the initiative "It Jewels": a show where the designers created their unique pieces.
